家聪（吕颂贤 饰）本来是一名飞虎队员，一次执行任务受伤后，被调职至原理香港岛的一个小岛上担任巡警、疗养伤势。小岛上的居民虽然民风淳朴，但岛上警察局的条件令家聪大跌眼镜，这里连他一共只有几名警员，连巡逻车都没有，平时巡逻都是靠自行车。这里的作风也和香港大不一样，办事都讲究人情世故，很多规章制度在这里根本没人遵守。本来就原则性极强的家聪和这里的村民时常发生摩擦，幸得茶餐厅老板娘阿玉（黄恺欣 饰）体谅开解，阿玉原来是家聪失散多年的亲生母亲，后来母子终于相认。家聪在这里与村民安心（宣萱 饰）成了欢喜冤家，但安心的哥哥安顺（郭晋安 饰）原来就是那次在家聪执行任务时将他打伤的匪徒，家聪最后会否发现这一秘密，爱情、责任他又会如何取舍？。隐匿江湖多年的柳余恨突然现身，陆小凤深感诧异。原来这与五十年前金鹏王朝遗留的稀世珍宝有关。陆小凤碍于金鹏王相求和上官飞燕卷入此事，决定帮忙查找当年的三个叛臣，他很快找到关中珠宝阁大当家的严立本和峨嵋掌门严独鹤，但两人很快便死于西门吹雪和丹凤公主剑下，二人的死使刚有眉目的线索戛然中断，事情变得扑朔迷离。紧接着花满楼离奇失踪，丹凤公主也中毒身亡，通过缜密梳理，陆小凤发现求他办事的金鹏王竟然是个假冒者......。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
