本剧描述一位年轻的单亲妈妈克莉丝蒂（安娜·法瑞丝饰演），在酗酒者互助会（AA）上遇到她久未见面的母亲邦妮（艾莉森·珍妮饰演）后，在纳帕山谷发生的新生活。。摄影师志强在一家杂志社工作，因工作关系与明星范仙相遇，并要时常朝夕相处。范仙心灵寂寞，幸得志强陪伴左右，二人很快成为知心朋友，但当志强发现范仙的另一身份后黯然离去。范仙的友人举办摄影展，志强的作品有幸参展。可是展览只着重售卖摄影名家的作品，并无艺术可言，志强心里满不是味儿。。Reports of Fallon's death are greatly exaggerated.
